Our NEW Palm Springs-inspired Teal Shark kaftan is both a fabulous maxi dress for those warm summer days and nights and a super comfortable beach cover-up. The organic cotton was hand block printed using nontoxic dyes by a group of amazing artisans in Jaipur, India. We employ ethical, green practices that are kind to workers and the environment.

We have added a matching sash belt should you want to accentuate your gorgeous waist!

Your kaftan purchase will support the efforts of WildAid, a nonprofit conservation organization that aims to end the illegal wildlife trade of products such as shark fin, elephant ivory, and rhino horn. An estimated 100 million sharks are killed every year and fins from up to 73 million sharks are used for shark fin soup. Some shark populations have declined up to 98% in the last 15 years. Given that sharks are the top predator in the marine food chain, this can have a huge impact on the ecosystem as other species are not adequately regulated. Via celebrity endorsements and large media campaigns, WildAid is raising awareness about the significant decline in the shark population. Due to WildAid's efforts, there has been a 50-70% reduction in China's consumption of shark fin soup.  Read more about sharks.
