Our Condor products support the efforts of American Bird Conservancy (ABC), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect native birds, including the California Condor, and its habitat. The largest flying bird in North America, the California Condor has a nine-foot plus wingspan allowing it to stay aloft for hours and float up to 15,000 feet on warm air thermals. Sadly, due to a variety of factors including habitat degradation, poisoning, and hunting, the number of California Condors fell to 22 in 1987.
