Our organic cotton aprons, dresses, pillow shams, sarongs, scarves, skirts, table linens, tops and weekender totes are all hand block-printed by talented artisans in Jaipur, India. We’re dedicated to keeping our process sustainable and kind—to both the people who make our textiles and the environment that inspires them.

And who are the women behind Beastly Threads? Torrey Shawe and her mom Nancy Strohmeier. Torrey (hair up) founded Beastly Threads back in 2012 in Washington, DC and after almost a decade in Chile and France, now runs it from Birmingham, Michigan. For many years, Nana/Nancy (hair down) handled all US packaging and fulfillment out of her home in Connecticut but that responsibility has moved back to Torrey. Nancy now holds the permanent position of Greatest Cheerleader Ever.
