Butter Prairie Dog Pillow Sham

These organic cotton linen shams were hand block printed using nontoxic dyes by a group of talented artisans in Jaipur, India. We employ ethical, green practices that are kind to workers and the environment.

A Prairie Dog sham purchase will support the efforts of the Western Watersheds Project, a leading advocacy, policy, and education organization focusing on, among other issues, protecting prairie dog populations and habitat in the American West. Prairie Dogs are considered a keystone species because of the large direct and indirect impact they have on the ecosystem in which they reside. For example, prairie dog tunnels provide homes for many amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Sadly, prairie dog numbers have been reduced by as much as 95% due to disease and human "pest management."

Size: Standard pillow size (20" x 26") with 1" flange

Please note that these shams were printed by hand so colors may vary and little imperfections should be expected. 

Care: Handwash or machine wash in cold water. Hang dry. For extra protection for the tassels, machine wash in a fine mesh lingerie bag. No bleach. Warm steam iron.
