This organic cotton canvas throw pillow was designed in Brooklyn and then hand block printed using nontoxic dyes by a group of artisans in Bagru, India. The printed fabric was then cut and sewn by a small sewing shop here in the USA. We employ ethical, green practices that are kind to workers and the environment.
We provide an eco-friendly, hypoallergenic insert that was made in the USA.
Your pillow purchase will support the efforts of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an environmental action group combining the grassroots power of more than 2 million members and online activists with the courtroom clout and expertise of nearly 500 lawyers, scientists, and other professionals. NRDC is working to reverse the decline in honeybee populations by fighting the use of highly toxic pesticides by large agrichemical companies. There is no time to waste as we need honeybees to pollinate 70 percent of our major crops and 42% of American honeybee colonies collapsed last year. Read more about the Honeybee.
